Although Doha is a tiny city, there are still some places that I still haven’t got the chance to see and visit after living here for seven years. Perhaps that’s because when the weather is hot and humid and stays that way for most part of the year, you really don’t have an option but to stay indoors. They’ve also been constantly constructing new attractions and most were just recently available to the public.
These days when the weather is still very beautiful outdoors, it is the perfect time to see places that just opened. This time I have to see the Magical Festival Village. I believe this was already opened for some time but it is my first time to explore the place. I am amused by its vintage style set up and various colourful hanging decors as I go along.
My pastel colored outfit for the day somehow matches the vintage vibe of the place. I’m wearing a peach colored flowy dress that has a vintage feel in it with its ruffles by the neck. I paired it with a pointed high heeled gamusa low cut boots which I bought online some time ago.
To add a streak of color to my pastel head to toe outfit, I chose to grab my old navy blue loose cardigan to keep me warm and cozy. Oh how I love cardigans these days! They are just so perfect for the weather.
I enjoyed going from one store to another to check out some handmade products as well as vintage and casual fashion pieces. I tried so hard not to fall for the cute little handmade items I’ve found because I know for sure that if I buy them, they will just pile up at home and I would never find the time to organize them. But I imagine it would be nice to have a display of handmade products at one corner of the house especially when you got them while travelling. Maybe I can have a collection one day.
Of course you can never miss out the food stalls with various snack selections to enjoy while walking around and enjoying the scenes. Well, I think this is another lovely place to enjoy in Doha while the weather is still calm and breezy. Share us your experience when you happen to pass by Magical Festival Village.
